Falcon Creek is a small neighborhood located on the eastern edge of Highlands Ranch, just west of the city’s border with Lone Tree. To the north Falcon Creek is bordered by Chestnut Hills and to the west by Eastridge Point across South Quebec Street. On East Lincoln Avenue and Falcon Creek Drive, within the Eastridge subdivision of Highlands Ranch, 2-story, single family homes can be found lining Falcon Creek’s quiet, winding streets. From the late 1980s to the mid 1990s, Falcon Homes constructed roughly 200 homes that make up the neighborhood, making it one of Highlands Ranch’s older subdivisions. Homes within Falcon Creek range from 2,000 up to 3,500 square feet, leaving a wide variety of options for home buyers.

Falcon Creek is a quiet neighborhood hiding in plain sight. Entering the subdivision off the busy Lincoln Avenue through Falcon Creek Drive or South Cottoncreek Drive (Falcon Creek’s only two entrances), road noise quickly calms and the curving roads settle into a charming neighborhood. Houses- both small and large can be found scattered throughout the neighborhood’s streets and cul-de-sacs like South Prairie Falcon Lane, Blackhawk Court, and Saddlehorn Lane. Lot sizes average 0.22  acres.  There are, however, a few exceptionally large lots on South Ramshead Court that are nearly .50 acres.

Falcon Creek is on the easternmost end of Highlands Ranch, which is great for residents who want to be close to Lone Tree’s business parks and attractions, like Park Meadows Mall. The Highland Heritage Regional Park is only a two minute drive  (on the corner of South Quebec Street and East Lincoln Avenue), right next to Highlands Ranch's main Post Office. At the park, parents and kids can enjoy the baseball and soccer fields, playground equipment, and the Hound Hill off-leash dog park.

During the school season, elementary-aged kids have a quick trip south to Wildcat Mountain Elementary, located in the Eastridge Village subdivision on South Quebec. The elementary school can also be reached via the East Big Dry Creek Trail. Middle and High School students travel a bit further south to Rocky Heights Middle School and Rock Canyon High School on the corner of McArthur Ranch Road and Monarch Boulevard. Those looking for a workout can take a five minute drive west on Lincoln Avenue to reach the Eastridge Recreation Center and neighboring Falcon Park, featuring amenities such as a pool, fitness classes, and large sports fields. Those looking for a walk, run, or bike ride can take to the many trails connected to Falcon Creek, including the East Big Dry Creek Trail, Grand View Trail, and Wildcat Trail.

Falcon Creek is located in Douglas County, Zip Code 80130
